March saw better than expected weather for the UCAS conference held in a solid sided marquee. Organised and hosted by Portsmouth University this year the marquee had been moved to a larger site to accommodate a large clear span marquee, The unevenness of the ground was overcome by raising the marquee onto a levelled solid steel sub floor. With the sun shining through the glass windows and doors the marquee required less heating than previous years, so we were able to reduce the clients marquee heater bill at the last minute… Smiles all round!
